I lost interest in watching this program is mainly due to bad judging and also they have reduced number of songs per episode. Judges are really giving more marks to some contestants. For example, two days back Najim's family song(whatever they call it) he got 80/100. It was just an average singing and performance from his side and also he forgot some words too . I am sure many of u guys also felt the same. Some of them are getting less marks too.. Example: Thushar's yesterday's song. He sang much better than Najim's family song and still he got only 66 marks!!! 
dont u all agree that something is going on there? 
I feel ISS should show atleast 4 songs per episode and also they should stop sing and dance/etc and focus only on singing as we all already know about each contestants how they dance, etc. They dont have to do this kind of rounds again and again.. very boring to watch

yes. hereafterwards, focus should be only on singing. even present day singers, how many of them are also dancers? only some people can sing, and some people can dance. that is why in all stage shows, there are singers and performers.
alternatively, we can discontinue celebrity judges and give the option of voting to the audience to decide the marks for performance, costume, stage presence, interaction with audience etc.

It is obvious ISS had its own vision towards the public with asianet's reputation. They did it up to 5th or 6th round, with versatile rounds, little bit entertainment mostly more realistic elimination rounds with crying n crying its popularity soared up to sky.
Asianet then realized it is "duck giving golden eggs". There they lost the control, everything changed to a drama, they didn't know what they were doing. Public watched asianet underwent deep trouble to overcome this, trying to open up more with inside stories of ISS, thats became worst with Varun's elimination with special rules.
ISS 2007 started in June 2007 with 40 contestants. In fact that the producers of the show has taken 32 weeks to eliminate 25 contestants. It is really questionable of stretching and dragging this show like a TV SOAP, as this is an alternative to gain profit. Asianet continue to proving that all these elemination are predecided drama. They are forced to extend the show episodes telecast in December 2007 due to this romour surrounding SMS controversy & the pre-selection of the winner as Najim.
If they are only focussed about pure entertainment, they do not need to do all these rubbishes. Look at the show MG Annans, Sarigama Padhanisa, everybody knows that its just a SOAP,still running after years and years no changes.
There is point of discussing to regain ISS popularity now, better Asianet speed up its process to announce final winner and close the chapter.
They are able to come back with more ROCK'n show in future with better planning and organized.

i don feel asianet has a chance of pulling back the credibility of the programme...they strecthed it so much..they must hav followed what the channels who started the idea of such reality shows r doin..american idol n x factors r some of this programme which still has got the maximum viewership..i m not much aware abt american idol.but xfactor has a structure..it has one episode a week n finish in abt 15-20 weeks..u never gets bored(if u watch)..instead asianet was showin it on daily basis n for ages now...it was utterly nonsense n unplanned...the viewers were crazy bcoz it was the first of this type for us..but as the time went asianet is feelin short of ideas...n its goin to be short lived..
